In this Dharma Talk, given on April 8, 2018, Rinzan Pechovnik Osho examines case #55 of the Hekigonroku, or Blue Cliff Record. A monk asked, Dogo, "Is this life or is this death?" Dogo said, "I would not tell you." Zen asks us to explore this penultimate question for ourselves and to have our own direct experience of the ineffable, of that which is beyond thought or conceptualization.
