In this Teisho, given on January 19th, 2020, Rinzan Pechovnik Osho continues his examination of the Rinzai Roku, reading from Teaching the Assembly Chapter XI (part 2). Rinzai draws from an allegory from the Lotus Sutra, The Burning House, to direct the student to understand that, in seeking things outside of ourselves (our direct, immediate experience of this), we become lost, clinging to what has no substance. Gaining insight into our deep nature, we actualize the non-discriminating light shining through the house of our own being.
